EXCURSION "PANORAMIC WALK" - Thursday, September 16, 2021
To allow participants to enjoy the unique view of Crans-Montana and to take a break from a busy science week, a walk is offered to participants on Thursday, September 16.
At 12.00, from the Congress Center, participants are invited to put on a pair of walking shoes and follow the guides who will take us to the altitude.
We will take the cable car to reach the moutain ridge Cry d'Er (approx. 2'200 m) where we can enjoy the panoramic view. A restaurant invites for a break (25 CHF voucher included).
The descent can be done on foot (about 5 to 6 km, around 1 hour of walking without any particular difficulty) or by the same mechanical means as during the ascent (altitude of Crans-Montana : approx. 1'500 m).
SYMPOSIUM DINNER - Thursday, September 16, 2021
A "Raclette & Awards" will be organised on Thursday, September 16 in a typical Swiss restaurant called "Le Cervin" where this very typical cheese meal will be served.
The Restaurant "Le Cervin" also proposes optional menus (vegetarian, allergies and others).
A bus transfer from the Congress Center will be organised at 6 pm to get to the restaurant.
It is strongly advised to use this option because this restaurant is not served by a local bus service.
